Wrong way

Previously, irons were exclusively with a metal surface, not everyone knew about the possibility of using vinegar, and they had not yet come up with special cleaning pencils. Therefore, they masterfully coped with the problem in a laborious and not quite right way - with the help of a blade: they simply scraped the soot mechanically.

Important! If the sole is hopelessly spoiled, most likely it's time to choose a new iron. We have prepared a separate review, which examined in detail the best models of irons.

Doing so is not worth it for the reason that during such exposure, soles form on the sole. They will subsequently affect the ease of sliding, as well as the cleanliness of the surface. But if nevertheless you did not know about other methods or did not have suitable means at hand and cleaned the burn with a blade, try to slightly correct the situation using the following method:

  1. Take the finest grit sandpaper.
  2. Carefully walk it on the sole of the iron to sand.
  3. Wax the surface - rub well, do not spare the candles.
  4. Heat the appliance and iron a clean lining cloth.

Important! These measures should be enough for a while to iron you easily and quickly. Repeat this procedure as the slip decreases.

When cleaning the soles of the appliance from soot, do not forget descale the iron inside.
